Trans Tasman Training

Trans Tasman 60+ Division Coach, Neil Brown, today brought together the NSW players selected for the 2026 Trans Tasman Challenge, to be held in Mt Martha this March. This included representatives from both the Open and 60+ Division squads.
The session was held at the former Boules by the Lake Pétanque Club in Teralba, NSW - fittingly, the site of the 2013 Trans Tasman Challenge. Players in attendance were Chris Boudan, Sharleen Boudan, Meredith Clark (making the trek from Sydney), Lilanne O’Connell, Bronson Romani, Logan Romani, with Yili Han attending as a team reserve.
The day included a game of gender triples, some pointing & strategic boule placement exercises, and concluded with mixed doubles, allowing players to put key learnings into practice in game situations.
Thank you to Neil for hosting the day and for his dedication to the players, and thank you to all players for their commitment, travel, and enthusiasm in making the session such a success.
