Hello  [[FIRST_NAME]]

Welcome to our new look Newsletter.

Petanque Australia (PA) has launched this upgraded information platform to provide leagues, clubs and licensed players with more interesting and appealing content.

We also want to connect with the many social petanque players and lovers of our sport across Australia and encourage them to "get involved" and join a club.

How can you help?

Seeking a fresh approach to reaching all involved in our sport or who could be, we've taken steps to upgrade our communications reach. The first element in this program is an upgrade to the newsletter. This is a work in progress, so your feedback and ideas are welcome.

There is a busy schedule of events coming up for PA and State League Teams with the 2025 Interstate Challenge in Adelaide, World Championships in Rome, both in September, and the Oceania 2025 Championships team training camp to be held in Newcastle at the end of August.

The New South Wales League recently held a two-day training and examination program for players and umpires wanting to gain PA Level 1 Coaching and Umpiring Accreditation in their respective areas.  Details of the successful accredited new coaches and umpires will be advised soon.

Thank you to Delys Brady, NSW Umpiring Manager and Neil Brown, NSW Coaching Manager, who conducted their respective courses.

Do keep enjoying your pétanque.

Regards
